Contact Usno plumbing, no faucet, and no countertop modification needed — the TDQR09 works completely on its own. It is a countertop dishwasher with a built-in 5 L (1.3 gal) water tank, so you can use it two ways:
- Tank mode — for apartments, rentals, RVs and older homes (no faucet at all). Pour water into the top tank from a jug or any container. One full tank runs an entire cycle, and there is no hose, no pipework and nothing to install — perfect if your landlord or lease won't allow changes.
- Faucet mode — for back-to-back loads. Connect the inlet hose to your faucet (water pressure range 0.04–1 MPa). If your pull-down or pull-out faucet won't take the adapter, unscrew the aerator — the small mesh tip on the end of the spout — counterclockwise. That usually exposes a standard thread the adapter fits straight onto.
Either way, the machine tells you when it's ready: fill the tank or turn the faucet on, wait until the water-shortage indicator goes out, then start.
place settings per load — that's the official rating, and a full load looks like this (per the recommended layout): 3 dinner plates, 1 oval serving platter, 3 bread & butter plates, 3 cups, 3 iced-tea glasses, 3 dessert bowls, 2 serving bowls, 3 dinner forks, 3 salad forks, 3 knives, 6 teaspoons, 2 serving spoons and 1 serving fork. Everyday dinner plates and bowls fit fine.
Loading tips: scrape off large food scraps — no pre-rinsing under the tap needed; load cups and bowls upside down and at a slight angle; don't let items touch each other; and make sure the spray arms can rotate freely.
Will it fit my kitchen? Dimensions are 428 × 425 × 458 mm (16.85 × 16.73 × 18 in, W × D × H) — the unit is 18 in (458 mm) tall, so it fits any cabinet opening with at least 18.5 in of clearance. Less than 18.5 in? Pick our wheeled portable model instead.
