Have A Question?
If you still have questions, please contact us by email service@airmsen.com, we will reply you within 24 hours on working days.
Contact Uslavor comes down to three variables: grind size, dose, and extraction time.
Use flow speed as your only guide:
- Faster than 20 s → under-extracted → sour, watery, no crema
- Slower than 35 s or only dripping → over-extracted → bitter, harsh, burnt
Two commonly missed causes:
(1) Bean freshness — best 5–20 days after roast; use pre-ground within a week.
(2) Limescale — buildup slows flow and drops brew temperature, ruining good beans.Change only one variable at a time, taste, and you'll usually dial it in within 2–3 shots.
Descale every 2–3 months or when prompted (more often with hard water). Limescale buildup is the #1 cause of weak/stopped flow. Use filtered water to slow buildup.
Record an unboxing video and keep the box. If anything looks damaged or faulty, contact us within 48 hours for a replacement — we handle the logistics. Warranty is verified by order number, no receipt needed.
These symptoms usually share one root cause: the milk box isn't seated correctly. Check in order:
(1) Push the milk box in firmly — if it isn't locked in place, Cappuccino/Latte are disabled and only Espresso shows (a safety design, not a fault);
(2) the straw inside the milk box is properly installed;
(3) the water tank isn't low — the frothing system draws water from it;
(4) steam but no milk = a clogged intake valve — remove the intake valve and flush it with water.
Clean the box and frothing tube after every use; milk residue is the main cause of blockages. The milk box is dishwasher safe — the frothing tube is not.
Flashing CLEAN + FROTH is a maintenance reminder after 500 brew cycles and does not affect use.
It usually stays on because of one of two things:
(1) you must start descaling in standby mode by holding CLEAN + FROTH together for 3 seconds;
(2) the cycle must run to completion — it cannot be cancelled by any button (only by powering off), and the counter resets to zero only after it finishes.
If you interrupt it, the reminder stays. If it persists after a full cycle, re-run it with diluted descaling solution and rinse both the water and milk circuits.
A flashing screen on startup is normal preheating, not a fault — all icons turn solid when it's ready. Note the machine does not preheat automatically in standby; heating starts once you select a drink. For hotter coffee:
(1) warm your cup on the stainless steel preheat tray on top;
(2) run a blank Espresso cycle (no coffee) first to warm the brew head and filter;
(3) after the machine sits idle more than 3–4 days, run a CLEAN cycle before brewing.
